European Congress on Tropical Medicine and International Health
We have been appointed as the official PCO for the 2017 and 2019 editions of the ECTMIH.
In 2017, the Congress was organised by the Institute of Tropical Medicine in Antwerp, Belgium. We welcomed over 1,500 International Participants to the edition in Antwerp.
In 2019, the Congress took place at the ACC in Liverpool, UK. This edition was organised by the RSTMH and over 1,200 International Participants attended the Congress in Liverpool.
Both congresses had a well elaborated scientific programme and great social events.
Project description
Every two years, ECTMIH brings together more than 1500 scientists and experts from across the world. The congress provides a platform for sharing research and innovation in the field of tropical medicine and global health. Contacts are made, networks are strengthened, and new partnerships are formed.
It also acts as a forum for reflection on the role of tropical medicine and global health, taking into account the biggest trends of the twenty-first century, such as human migration and climate change.
